I'm Sohail Akhtar, a Senior Business Analyst with over 15 years delivering requirements, platforms, and process improvements for some of Canada's largest banks, insurers, government bodies, and utilities. I founded Sohail Akhtar Enterprise to bring that same discipline to organizations who need a partner who's actually sat inside these systems, not just consulted on them from the outside.
My work spans TD Bank's third-party GIC distribution platform, a combined 1.8 million-plus smart meter rollout across BC Hydro and Hydro One, and a legacy system replacement for the City of Toronto's public bylaw and parking system. I hold an MSc in IT from the University of East London and a BE in Electrical Engineering, but what I bring to a project isn't credentials on paper. It's having done the requirements gathering, the stakeholder workshops, and the traceability matrices myself, on the inside, under the same regulatory pressure your team is working under.
